Chilly, unflinching Montreal band Braids just released “Miniskirt,” their first new song in a couple of years, which delivers on the band’s promise that their third LP will “explore a number of heavy subjects, including pornography, abuse, and slutshaming.” “Miniskirt” also drops some quotable lines (“I’m not a man-hater, I enjoy them like cake” is a notable favorite), and promises to wear well.
