Last night, Nicolas Ghesquière celebrated the opening of Louis Vuitton Series 2 — Past, Present, and Future — an immersive presentation of the spring 2015 collection — in L.A., alongside Rosamund Pike, Michelle Williams, Catherine Deneuve, and Charlotte Gainsbourg. That wasn’t the only exhibition of note opening this week: On Wednesday, Anna Wintour and André Leon Talley jetted down to Savannah, Georgia, to celebrate the opening of the SCAD Museum of Art’s new Oscar de a Renta exhibit (which Talley curated). Meanwhile, back in New York, Barneys hosted a private dinner in honor of Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne; Inès de la Fressange and Tory Burch attended Roger Vivier’s lunch to benefit the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; and Common showed up at Tim Coppens’s celebratory dinner. Click through the slideshow for these and more highlights from the week’s best parties.
