20 Suede Pieces You’ll Want to Wear All Spring

By Diana Tsui

Suede was all over the spring runways. In colors like lilac, forest green, and rose, we saw it at Derek Lam, Gucci, and Loewe to name a few. And now that it’s actually (well, almost) spring, other brands are rolling out their own lightweight suede pieces that you can incorporate into your wardrobe now and well into spring. You can go with ‘70s-inspired Gianvito Rossi striped mules, opt for boho with a fringed wine-colored bag available at Nasty Gal, or play up your minimalist side with Theory’s sleek navy dress. Or, if you really want to wear something right now, both Toga and Stuart Weitzman offer boot options for the lingering cold weather. Click through our slideshow below to see all of these options and more.

Try this bright green skirt with a white button-up and camel sweater for a preppy '70s feel.
The fringe on this bag is long and dramatic, so keep your outfit simple and have it be your standout piece.
You can wear this sheath dress right now by layering a turtleneck under it and pairing it with boots.
Add faded jeans and sneakers for a laidback weekend look.
Wear these flatforms with a midi skirt or culottes when it warms up.
Contrast this skirt's camel hue with a tucked-in blue oxford.
Switch out your denim jacket with a bright suede one.
This top fits like your favorite oversize T-shirt but feels more dressed up, especially if you pair it with slim trousers or a pencil skirt.
If you like slouchy trenches, try this soft suede jacket and leave it unbelted for maximum ease.
Suede culottes: the fancy pants to wear when you want to make an impression without trying too hard.

The street-style favorite now gets even more bait-y in a bold blue color.
With its perforated suede, this moto is the ideal weight for late spring, when it's chilly in the mornings and warm during the day.
This would be the ideal shoe to complement all of the flared denim that's making a big comeback this season.
Because it'll still be cold for at least two more months and you'll want to wear a miniskirt.

This is like the Frankenstein of summer dresses, with its stitching that combines one part suede and one part white cotton. Which is to say, it's pretty cool and not like anything else you'll own.
Made from paper-thin suede, you can layer this over a turtleneck to wear it now and then go bare underneath (without sweating!) later.
Only Saint Laurent can make a boho bucket bag in pink and have it be supercool.
Platforms are back, and if you're dying to wear them right now, add a pair of thin socks to keep your toes warm.
