Cut contributor Bryce R. Covert went on Good Morning America today to discuss her story about the reasons that more women feel ambivalent about having children than men.
According to a 2013 poll, 80 percent of men said they’ve always felt sure about wanting to be a parent, while only 70 percent of women felt the same way — which Covert attributes to the fact that women today have more choices about their fertility, as well as more foresight into the disproportionate effect kids may have on their careers, free time, and autonomy.
