Dinosaurs Found Locked in Pose of Eternal Love

Scientists digging around in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia have unearthed two oviraptors — one male, one female — locked in an eternal, fossilized embrace. Researchers believe they were killed in postcoital bliss after a sand dune collapsed on top of them, forever entombing them at the peak of their romance, not unlike a can of green beans picked and preserved in their prime. They’ve been nicknamed Romeo and Juliet “since they are reminiscent of Shakespeare’s famous doomed lovers.”

I have not been so moved by something involving amorous dinosaurs since the universe gave us dinosaur erotica.
