Frieze might be about art, but the week around the fair requires nearly as many outfits as Fashion Week. There are parties every night — each fancier, more delicious, and with a deeper guest list than the next. Fashion finds a natural affinity with art (beautiful people in extravagant clothing), and last night’s Calvin Klein and Creative Time party brought out luminaries from both worlds such as Kehinde Wiley, Aaron Young, Giovanna Battaglia, Thelma Golden, and more. The dinner celebrated the Central Park Conservancy’s 35th anniversary, for which curators Cara Starke and Nato Thompson designed a six-weekend show of wistful, winding pathways along the Harlem Meer lake (the exhibition runs Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. until June 20 and is free — no fancy clothes required). See all of the outfits from Thursday’s fête, including Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Tabitha Simmons, Marina Abramovic, and more.
