The European menswear collections came to an end yesterday in Paris, and, unsurprisingly, there were a lot of looks that defied the limits of gender-normative dressing. It feels like fashion’s moved beyond gender-bending into new territory: gender-swirling. With so many houses incorporating their women’s resort collections into menswear shows, and gender non-conforming looks for men like Gucci’s lace blouses and floral tunics fitting right in on the runway, there’s no reason not to wear a look just because it was shown under the banner of “menswear.” Wear what you want — and trust us, you’ll want to wear these looks. From the rich, silky fabrics at Louis Vuitton and Dries Van Noten, to the most perfect cherry-red coat at Raf Simons, these are also looks that women (people!) will covet. Click through our slideshow below to see our favorite menswear looks that we want to wear now.

Saint Laurent Surf culture met grunge at Saint Laurent, even evoking Beck in his earlier days. The spirited Cali-esque looks have a lot for us to go for here: the lapels emblazoned with a sparkling sunset and knit sky hat, or, even more so, the tie-dyed knit layered under a leopard jacket and ditzy floral scarf. Stripped apart as separates, we would have a key piece for a different outfit for each day of the week.

Hood by Air Drapery, graphic strappy tanks, and baby barrettes may seem like the more obvious styles to steal from Hood by Air, but it's really all about look three: a great long-sleeve tunic-style dress, simply worn with white sneakers. This is optimal summer dressing.

Pajama styles at Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Dries Van Noten. Ever since Grace Coddington sported custom Michael Kors pajamas at the Met, we've been taking note of any silken separates for day, and the men's shows did not disappoint. At Gucci, teal pajamas were paired with lace-up slippers. At Louis Vuitton, logo-covered options (with scarves!) came in beautiful wallpaper-worthy prints. And at Dries Van Noten, a striped silk robe with a cheeky leopard interior stood out. These looks could easily be broken up, the tops paired with a slim pant, or the robe worn over a dress.

Valentino Valentino often calls to mind camouflage and intricate embroidery, but we were drawn to the effortless mix of color. Olive Sateen, deep bordeaux, and bird-speckled periwinkle make for an ultrasophisticated blend of colors we want to try. Also covetable: pineapple-printed espadrilles.

Gucci Gucci was romantic in a very gender-bending, '70s way. The suits came in deep, saturated colors and were paired with ruffled necklines, and the long, lean flares worn with a lace blouse were almost something out of the Jackie O. playbook.

Comme des Garçons The polka-dot lace-ups are just the beginning of what's to like here. A seemingly much cooler take on the bro striped shirt is casually cool with the slim cropped pant, ripped just so above the knee (a more attractive part of the leg, perhaps?). Slim jeans would look just as good.

Haider Ackermann If one designer could make us envious of a single shape, it's Haider Ackermann. His latest collection for men is replete with sleek pants and trim jackets that cut an enviable slim, sexy silhouette. The contrasting striped look, with a shrunken blazer and slim pant, is great for a boyish female form, while the belted jacket is ideal for creating the look of a defined waist. We are also drawn to the slip on flats worn with both.

Givenchy Skirts worn by men are nothing new to Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy, and here it appears we now have a tunic. Worn layered under a tailored, tonal striped jacket and over shorts, it's a new suit shape to covet. Notable mention here goes to the T-strap flats and the oversize key necklace.

The satin jackets at Louis Vuitton, Dries Van Noten, Saint Lauerent and Valentino Embellished satin baseball jackets and souvenir-style jackets with embroidered birds were prevalent, and just as likely to be seen on Joe Jonas as on Taylor Swift (she's been wearing a sequined one on her 1989 tour).

Raf Simons This is the overcoat we are still thinking about. The lipstick red is the sort of color we would want to wear over navy and black for a statement. Detail-oriented eyes will also appreciate the subtle grommeting, a notable trend from the women's fall 2015 collections.

Dries Van Noten Dries Van Noten often has women lusting after his menswear and men wanting to shop from the women's sales floor. He's just that good. While his collection nodded to Elsa Schiaparelli and Marilyn Monroe, there were also quieter offerings to please all, like this tonal tropical print coat. It would seemlessly slip into anyone's closet, gender notwithstanding.

Burberry Prorsum For when you want to channel a Parisian schoolboy. Burberry Prorsum's smart red pullover is the epitome of cozy, something all can agree upon, and the extra-long scarf, tied in a neat knot on the nape, adds a dramatic but still effortless nonchalance.

Lanvin The super-controlled palette still offered plenty to desire at Lanvin. The shrunken proportion of the blazer can add the illusion of additional height and looks great over the ivory frayed knit. With black jeans and boots, the neck scarf keeps the look from veering too moody come springtime.

Craig Green Craig Green debuted great womenswear in his men's spring collection, but his purist monochrome aesthetic menswear still inspires outfit possibilities. For instance, this take on denim-on-denim would look great with a chunky wooden platform, but also with a flat sneaker. Think of it as a new uniform for denim heads.
