Kurt Cobain and ‘Samurai’ Looks at Men’s Shows

It’s a wrap on the European menswear spring 2016 shows! This weekend in Paris, Thom Browne sent questionable goth “samurais” down the runway in embroidered robes and headpieces with an Edward Scissorhands twist. Saint Laurent nailed Kurt Cobain’s aesthetic with ‘90s beanies, layered flannel, grandma knits, and versions of the designer’s signature bug-eye frames. Kenzo models looked dressed for the clouds as they walked on a moon-rock set in streamlined flight suits and protective sculptural sweaters. See all these looks, plus more, in our gallery below, and make sure to check back for collections from New York’s first Men’s Fashion Week next month.
