Last night, Common went out to dinner at a vegan restaurant in West Hollywood wearing a suitably compassionate ensemble. The rapper — who has preached solidarity and collaborated with Maya Angelou — wore a T-shirt with the subtly and delicately scrawled message “This is what a feminist looks like,” along with a pair of matching gray sweatpants.
