It’s hard to believe it’s only day two of fall 2015 couture, when there are already enough sparkles from Paris to make your eyes hurt. At Chanel, models walked circles around a casino set in balloon silhouettes and thermal quilt variations of the house’s classic suit, while each Armani Privé look was dance-floor-ready, from a beaded fringe cape to checkered sequined pants reminiscent of a disco ball. Meanwhile, Versace seemed more transfixed with the outdoors — there were romantic deconstructed gowns in tethered sheer and velvet intertwined in chain mail accessorized with flower crowns.
