If you’re starting to feel like N.W.A also stands for “No Women Allowed,” check out this Chicago-based female rap supergroup, W.W.A (Women With Attitude), made up of talented Chi-Town rappers Katie Got Bandz, Lucci Vee, Sasha Go Hard, and Chella H.

W.W.A’s goal isn’t to criticize N.W.A They want to do for 2015 Chicago what N.W.A did for 1988 Compton. But by reminding us that women can rap just as hard about their lives on the streets, their struggles, their hustles, and getting theirs, the group’s very existence is a welcome antidote to Straight Outta Compton misogyny fatigue. Check out the video for their bombastic, script-flipping take “Straight Outta Chicago,” and get excited for their EP which, Jezebel reports, drops later this summer.
