Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Miley Cyrus wore a skirt and cape that that seemed to be made of rainbow rock candy and revealed heart-shaped nipple pasties made of gemstones. Kimmel was clearly flustered, but Miley tried to reason with him: “I see a lot of people with their clothes on, and they’re kind of assholes. I don’t know if it’s the clothes that turn you into an asshole. Like, when you’ve got your tits out, you can’t really be an asshole. You know, it’s like people are already judging you.”
Wearing less, Miley continued, has proven its merits in other ways, too, like when she got nervous meeting Paul McCartney. She didn’t know how to talk to him, and with her outfit, he clearly didn’t know how to talk to her either: “It made me very comfortable because it made him more uncomfortable.” After all, she pointed out, nipples make a great equalizer: Everyone has them. “What you can’t show, everyone has, but the jug part that everyone doesn’t — you’re allowed to show underboob,” she said, grabbing her own for emphasis.
