In one of the more unique fragrance campaigns since Brad Pitt’s Chanel No.5 ad, today Dior released Johnny Depp’s intriguing yet puzzling new commercial for the scent Sauvage. Directed by the French fashion photographer and music-video pro Jean-Baptiste Mondino — and yes, by the way, you do want to watch the entire director’s cut — the ad takes Depp on a dizzying journey reminiscent of a peyote fever dream (or the time Homer Simpson ate Guatemalan insanity peppers).
