Demna Gvasalia is the (hard-to-pronounce) name on everyone’s lips in Paris right now. The Georgian-born, Paris-based head designer of Vetements was just named the new creative director of Balenciaga. And while he may not be a household name, the street-style crowd has been embracing him for some time now. His turtleneck floral dress from fall 2015 has quickly become a street-style staple, as seen on Yasmin Sewell, Jayne Min, and Julia Sarr-Jamois, among many others — we basically saw it coming and going throughout fashion month.

With his newly heightened profile, it wouldn’t surprise us to see if Gvasalia’s spring 2016 creations make their way to the sidewalk runway — maybe his holographic dress or Star Wars prequel–themed skirt will be next to get the street-style baptism by Instagram?
