Now that Neil Strauss and Tucker Max claim to have grappled with their pasts, can they find redemption in an age when pickup artistry is (maybe) dead?

Maureen O’Connor isn’t sure, but is willing to let Strauss plead his case. (Gracious, considering that this is the man responsible for the “neg” pandemic.)

In our second segment, “Sex Lives” dives into Tim Murphy’s piece on “Identity-Free Identity Politics.” After spending time with a new generation of agender, asexual, and aromantic college activists, Murphy found that gender, sex, and love as we know them might be facing extinction.

And lastly, we had to talk about it, because everyone else was — what was up with that Zola thing on Twitter?

With Allison P. Davis, Maureen O’Connor, David Wallace-Wells, and guest Tim Murphy.

A new episode of “Sex Lives” can be found each week on iTunes or SoundCloud.
