Perhaps you thought that the ridiculously early arrival of holiday displays in stores and ads on TV was a universally hated phenomenon. You were wrong. According to research referenced in a new Harvard Business Review video, one third of Americans surveyed did indeed recoil from Christmas trees and Santa hats prancing about in early fall, but just as many people said they loved the four-month-long holiday season and that it “put them in a good mood.” Ruining it for the rest of us.
