let's talk about sex

New York Magazine’s ‘Sex Lives’ Podcast: So, Whatever Happened to the Woman Who Dated Her Dad?

Remember William Lloyd? He wrote an essay “Why I Don’t Go Down On Girls,” basically broadcasting to the world a fact that made him undateable.

After “feminist Twitter” panned him and basically every woman alive vowed never to sleep with him, Lloyd wanted to come on “Sex Lives” — though not as the hostile men’s-rights-activist type we might have expected. Instead, the British 22-year-old sought to explain himself, make amends, and reveal whether he plans on keeping his vow.

The second guest is Science of Us writer Alexa Tsoulis-Reay, who writes the “What It’s Like” column. She goes in depth about her most recent installment, “What It’s Like to Be Chemically Castrated,” but also revisits and updates us on some of her more notable subjects: the man with the micropenis, the intersex nudist, the man who sleeps with horses, and the woman in love with her father.

A new episode of “Sex Lives” can be found each week on iTunes or SoundCloud.
