Sia explained that the wig is not an artistic affectation, but a savvy move to avoid paparazzi: “So that I can go to Target and buy a hose if I want to, or if I find I’m very in need of a restroom, I can go in the side of the road. No one would be following me with a camera trying to get the shot.” The woman actually wears a wig for every public appearance just so she can shop at Target in peace.
I suggest applying this hijacked logic the next time you need to visit any retail hellscape. Wear a full-face wig when you go to Target, too. Serenity will be yours. You won’t even feel like you’re running errands — you might even feel like a rock star experiencing her deepest Zen.
