Katie May, the 34-year-old model, died Thursday in L.A. after suffering a stroke on Monday, reported TMZ.

The model’s family told the New York Daily News that she had been recently complaining of neck pain and had been seeking treatment when she suffered from a blockage in her carotid artery.

May, featured in both Playboy and Sports Illustrated, was also known as the “Queen of Snapchat” and has 2 million followers on Instagram. She was a social-media queen, by definition.

May was also the mother of a 7-year-old daughter, Mia, for whom the family has started a GoFundMe page. The page says the following about the model and social-media star:

“Anyone who was lucky enough to know Katie May was truly blessed by her incredible heart, mind and soul. She was an inspiration and a guiding light to so many people in this world. Please help us by donating money to support her daughter. We want to raise as much money for her daughter’s living trust as possible to ensure she will always be taken care of. Her daughter was Katie’s whole life, so please help Katie and her family by donating money.”
