In a shocking turn of events that literally nobody could have seen coming, a former field organizer for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has accused the campaign of discriminating against her for being a woman. Whoa.
Elizabeth Mae Davidson, 26, worked for Trump as a field organizer in Iowa for six months before she was terminated for what she says are discriminatory reasons. According to the Times:
“[Davidson] said in a discrimination complaint that men doing the same jobs were paid more and were allowed to plan and speak at rallies, while her requests to do so were ignored. She also said that when she and a young female volunteer met Mr. Trump at a rally last summer, he told them, ‘You guys could do a lot of damage,’ referring to their looks.”
Hold up, you think a man who loves telling women they have “the face of a dog” and once accused a Fox News anchor of being on her period would treat you with less respect than he treats men? I dunno, seems pretty unlikely.
