Who Is the Best-Dressed at Paris Fashion Week?
By now the street-style bunch have boarded their planes, presumably clad in (chic) sweatpants and headed back for a much-needed break. But before they did, they made one last big showing with plenty of Valentino and Chanel in the mix. In the Chanel camp: Cut contributor Shiona Turini opted for a ladylike suit while Pernille Teisbaek chose a classic tweed jacket worn with flowing velvet trousers. Over on team Valentino were Giovanna Battaglia, Dakota Fanning, and Leila Yavari. Clad in colorful, fanciful pieces, they were the bright spots in the persistent Parisian gloom.
Which is only natural that the Golden Peacock Award today goes to Leila. Her tiered lace dress felt like a delicious spring dessert and served as the perfect inspiration for warm-weather dressing.
