Here’s the thing with Céline shoes: They’re not for everyone. Some find them strange and don’t get their appeal. But if you love them, you probably already had these pumps on your wish list the moment they appeared on the spring 2016 runway. Called the Folk pump, they feature a sensible, walking-friendly 2.75-inch wedge heel. But it’s the front that really makes these shoes special — the combination of the crisscross buckles and cutout leather have that off-kilter, pretty aesthetic that the brand is known for. Available in classic black, optic white, and red, they can make everything from cropped jeans to midi-skirts feel chicer. And even if you can’t commit to the big splurge, there’s no shame in just admiring this endless video of them walking through the spring grass.
