Lena Dunham wore a menswear-inspired Creatures of the Wind suit at the ArtsConnection gala on Monday, where she was honored. The Girls creator also sported a menswear look at the Met Gala earlier this month. “I’m having a nice menswear moment,” Dunham told the Cut.

“It feels nice to show up in a way that — I’m not going to say that it’s effortless, ’cause obviously, my great friends Creatures of the Wind put a lot of effort into making it, but there is something nice about just showing up in clothing that you can really relax in, and feel comfortable in,” she said. “I know for a fact that I was the most comfortable woman at the Met ball.”

It’s not just comfort behind Dunham’s sudden spate of suit-wearing: She suddenly has a closet full. “Jenny Konner and I produced a documentary that’s going to be airing on HBO in June, called Suited, which is about tailors who make suits for people in the transgender community,” she explained. “We got a couple suits made by the tailors that we documented in the film, Bindle & Keep. So I’m lousy with custom suits at the moment, which is something that I feel very lucky about.”
