On Monday night, very handsome actor and musician Mandy Patinkin played a solo show called Mandy Patinkin: In Concert to benefit the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.
“Page Six” reports that when one couple walked into the show a half hour late, salt-and-pepper fox Patinkin wasted no time in dressing them down for their tardiness in front of the whole audience, thereby awaking a latent fantasy of mine:
“‘Why are you late?’ the Homeland star inquired. ‘You were sending an email? To who?’
When the flustered audience member explained he was a financial adviser dealing with a client, Patinkin, 63, went to work, channeling Saul Berenson in his interrogation and bargaining skills.
‘This hurts me in my soul,’ Patinkin said. ‘You know what would make me feel better? If you donated $25,000 right now.’”
