If you are my friend, I’ll have told you about Fresh’s Umbrian Clay at some point. It means that we’re close enough to talk about PMS breakouts, weird hormones, and our strange, useless obsession with our pores — and for me to share that the Umbrian Clay is Harry Potter–level magic. Among its superpowers are its ability to shrink pimples overnight when used as a spot treatment, deep-clean skin without stripping it, and even make swelled mosquito bites less inflamed and itchy (a trick I learned from Jean Godfrey-June). It is multiuse and it excels in each way that it can be used.

Fresh discontinued its magic clay in mask form a few years ago, so I’ve become loyal to the bar format. But the mask is back, and its new pastelike format makes it even easier to use as a spot treatment. Thanks to the soothing nature of the Italian clay used in the mask, it works for all skin types and shades, and is even gentle enough to be used every day. When you’re my friend, enemy, frenemy, or indifferent — you all deserve to know the secret about this magical mask.
