At Philadelphia’s ninth annual Roots Picnic last Saturday, Usher sang, Will Smith gave a surprise performance with new Chanel ambassador Willow Smith, and at least one of Beyoncé’s dancers appeared in the crowd. David Williams captured the sunny festival on behalf of the Cut, photographing a crowd dressed in lots of yellow (in floral prints, flower crowns, nail polish), denim, and striped tees.
Click ahead to see the best street style from the weekend. The Roots will host the first New York edition of the Roots Picnic this fall, October 1-2 in Bryant Park.
