Joaquin Phoenix, James Cromwell, and Moby: men who, a casual search for “celebrity vegans” suggests, abstain from animal products altogether. And men who, presumably, are thrilled that Stella McCartney, known for her staunch animal-rights principles, is entering the realm of dude design. Per an official announcement today from the company, the line will “include fur free and leather free apparel and accessories,” just like her women’s collections.
The debut menswear collection won’t be shown during the upcoming men’s shows, but rather at an event held in London this November where the designer will also show her Spring 2017 collection. In keeping with the trending see-now, buy-now mood, the clothes will be available in stores shortly after the event.
