You’ve never seen a fashion show quite so adorable. Via the video below, watch children elegantly clad in Bonpoint’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection parade down the runway.
The collection is quite literally artful: It draws inspiration from film, photography, poetry, even impressionist painting. For example, the 1960s campus-esque feel of Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom inspired Bonpoint’s opening theme for Summer 2017. Another theme calls upon Gauguin’s time in French Polynesia with vibrant hues, hand-embroidery, and floral prints.
The July 6 show at Hôtel de Brancas in Paris marked the debut of this enchanting new collection, although Bonpoint has been creating artisanal clothing since 1975. With over a hundred locations across nearly 30 countries, the French couture house has made its distinctly Parisian well-made and intricately detailed mark upon childrenswear worldwide.
