Victoria Beckham, designer, woman of the world, and closet hip-hop star is releasing her own makeup line. In collaboration with Estée Lauder, the 15-part limited-edition color collection will land in stores this fall. It houses moody, earthy shades outfitted in single eye-shadow pots and in a six-color palette. In addition to the shadow options, the collection offers “Eye Ink,” a gel-cream formula that can be used dry or wet, a matte bronzer, a highlighter, and a “Morning Aura cream” that behaves as a glow potion to skin, according to WWD.
To construct the formulas, Beckham looked within for inspiration. Each product is tethered to how people perceive her beauty, “whether it’s a smoky eye, a nude lip, or dewy skin. So I’ve been very honest, very true to myself,” she humbly told WWD.
With pieces ranging from $30 (a matte lip pencil) to $95 (the Morning Aura Illuminating Crème), the collection is priced well within the luxury norm. But there is one outlier. The Victoria Beckham Collection Daylight Edition, a light box that stores eight of her products, costs $1,200. You can find it in stores starting September 13, though locating Beckham’s right arm is another story entirely.
