Frank + Oak has been churning out well-crafted and affordable men’s wardrobe staples for years, but after noticing how many of their customers were female, they decided to expand into the market of womenswear. The Montreal-based retailer is best known for clean silhouettes and a utilitarian take on design. It aims to mirror its success with millennial men by re-creating the classics for women — think sturdy coats, soft cotton tees, and quality denim.

The collection covers everything from accessories like socks ($12) and handbags ($225 and up) to workwear like chic turtlenecks and button-down shirts. More styles will debut throughout the month of October, and a holiday collection is set for early November.
