Megyn Kelly is making a brief shift from Fox News to Go90. The political commentator and The Kelly File host has signed on to produce a new political comedy for the Verizon-owned streaming platform, Variety reports. The scripted series, titled Embeds, follows five young reporters covering the presidential campaign trail who are “in way over their heads as they find themselves shaping the future of the country through raucous adventures in an unexpected world of sex, drugs, and swing states.” Six half-hour episodes have been ordered by Go90, with many well-known politicians expected to make special cameos throughout the season. Scott Conroy, co-author of the Sarah Palin biography Sarah From Alaska, and Peter Hamby, a former CNN correspondent, co-created the series and will be penning all of the scripts, with Fifty Shades of Grey producer Michael De Luca working alongside Kelly. Sex, drugs, and swing states, eh? [Aaron Sorkin breathes heavily.]
