The Best Bags From New York Fashion Week

At this Fashion Week’s street-style pageant, the bags won Best in Show — specifically, the stunning variety of Guccis. In the mix were flame-emblazoned Guccis, vintage Guccis, and Gucci Ghost shoppers, raising the question: “Who doesn’t own a Gucci?” (Um, other than us.)

Aside from the obvious preference for Alessandro Michele’s designs, there were tons of those curious geometric Loewe bags, with a few classics like the Dior saddle and the Fendi baguette coming out of retirement. Also noticeable: the departure of micro-bags in favor of large-than-life overnight sacks. Click through the slideshow below to see the best and craziest bags from New York Fashion Week.

In a world of micro-bags, it's refreshing to see someone rebel with a huge one that has the capacity to lug an extra change of clothes. Smart. Photo:...
