It’s a wrap for Paris Fashion Week, which means the Golden Peacocks are retiring from their biannual world tour. It also means it’s time to assess what we’ve learned by watching their behavior in the wild, starting with the best bags.
As expected, across all the cities, Gucci was the ‘It’ brand of the moment, but J.W. Anderson’s Pierce handbag was a close contender and an especially notable favorite in Paris. Other popular choices were Loewe’s kooky geometric bags and more vintage styles like the Dior saddle and archival Chanel.
