Thanksgiving can be a tense holiday even at the best of times, but during an acrimonious divorce, well, feathers can fly.
There were rumors that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would spend Thanksgiving together with their kids in a sort of informal truce, but the estranged power couple spent the holiday apart. According to Page Six, 10-year-old Shiloh emailed them requesting a family dinner, but it wasn’t to be. “She never asked him and they are not together,” the source said, although they were reportedly both in Los Angeles over the holiday.
Pitt’s new movie, Allied, opened on November 23, just as news broke that he’d been cleared of all child-abuse allegations.
Given the buzz around their impending custody battle, Christmas is probably off the table as well.
