This year’s election has not been easy on couples, especially if they’re supporting different presidential candidates. So when CNN interviewed a husband and wife in Pennsylvania who’ve been married for 37 years, there were decent odds they would disagree about who to vote for.
The surprise came when CNN’s anchor asked the woman if she was excited for the first female president. The wife shouted, “No!” just before her husband chimed in meekly from behind: “I am.”
But don’t worry, guys — they still love each other because, as the wife pointed out, “What are you gonna do?”
