To the paltry list of good things that happened in 2016, we can now tentatively add one more: the blossoming of young love.
Four months after NFL tight end Colton Underwood asked Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman (and another one of 2016’s Good Things) out on a date via video chat, the pair have officially confirmed their status as a couple. They debuted their relationship at Monday’s Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year event, and Raisman confirmed that they have been dating since the VMAs in August and that she will be spending the holidays with Underwood’s family.
“I’m just looking forward to 2017,” said Raisman. “I think it’s going to be an exciting year for everyone.” Don’t you dare screw this one up, Colton.
