Did you knit those little orbs covering your buns?
Yes! I wear my hair like this every day, and I can’t wear a regular beanie, so I had to make up a little hat for my head shape. I call this my “bunny-clava.” I love bunnies. Angora is my favorite kind of yarn.

What is it that drew you to knitting?
I think I just liked the fact that you’re making something out of a line, out of one strand of wool. And then I like the problem-solving that comes with it and the math and science of it. I also like that it’s forgiving: If you don’t like something, you can unravel and start over.

Big holiday plans?
I’ll probably have a low-key Christmas here, and then for New Year’s, I’m going to do what I did last year: My friends and I did a guided meditation. We just lie on the ground, and we’re like, Okay, this is where we’re going to put our efforts and energy next year, and stuff like that.
