The New Cosmo Reality Show Looks Absolutely Bonkers

So Cosmo, the new reality show about staffers at Cosmopolitan magazine, premieres on February 8, and based on the 20-minute preview, the drama savants at E! have outdone themselves once again. This show has everything: inter-office love triangles, elevator selfies, small-town kids coming to the big city to “make it,” social climbing, backstabbing, long pans over racks of clothing, a shirtless “fitness coordinator” looking for love, tears, Kardashian cameos, a steely British boss, rampant HR infractions, unexpected weather events, sex talk, helicopter make-outs, aerial shots of the Hearst tower set to techno music, people who can “work hard and play hard,” and of course, sick burns. As one staffer describes a particularly catty corner of the office: “Fire Island is what we call it, because that’s where you walk by to get burned.” 2017 is looking up already.
