Yesterday, influencers and fashionistas alike braved rainy streets for another day of London Fashion Week. Just like their New York counterparts, show-goers didn’t let the weather stop them from attending their favorite shows. They took to the streets wearing floor-length parkas and plastic bucket hats.
Ankle boots continued to shine, especially those of the camel-toe and cowboy variety. Minimalist bags were also a popular accessory, with many women choosing to carry their essentials in simple leather purses. And of course, a few people still clung to their fanny packs.
Burberry plaids were fairly ubiquitous, after Christopher Bailey’s emotional final show. Some dared to wear fur in the gloomy weather, with one woman flaunting a fur bucket hat despite the rain. Turtlenecks and jackets proved to be a street-style staple, along with Canadian tuxedos.
London has long been the fashion capital for eccentrics and creatives, which makes for some very colorful street style. Save the je ne sais quoi for the Parisians and the all-black ensembles for the New Yorkers — this week was all about fun personal style. Scroll through the rest of our street-style portfolio.
