Art-world elites have a flair for fashion that’s almost as sharp as their eye for the next up-and-coming artist. Over the weekend at Frieze New York, photographer Gus Powell captured the best and most Instagram-ready looks from the seventh annual art fair on Randall’s Island.
This year, monochromatic ensembles and statement accessories were the name of the game. One man was spotted wearing head-to-toe millennial pink, while others went for more classically minimalist all-black or all-white attire. Also spotted: Lichtenstein-inspired tights paired with red rubber wedges, a two-headed snake necklace, and a tie emblazoned with cartoon pigs in various stages of copulation.
