Clé de Peau Created a New Concealer

Radiant Corrector for Eyes in Almond.

Concealer probably isn’t the beauty product you get the most excited about. It is definitely the bra of makeup: A good one is going to make everything else come together, but you can’t quite put your finger on why. Clé de Peau Beauté has been famously good at making a great concealer for a long time. Their Concealer SPF 25 is as iconic as NARS Blush in Orgasm or MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo. Now, the brand is hoping that their new Radiant Corrector for Eyes will also join these hallowed beauty ranks.

The original concealer comes in a traditional cream-stick tube that you twist up from the bottom, apply directly on skin, and blend with fingers. The Radiant Corrector is more like a pen you can use to draw on your face. It even has a button on the bottom you click to dispense liquid through the brush. Putting the concealer and brush together in one place is more convenient overall, but especially for traveling or touch-ups. Even though it’s specifically named “for eyes,” like the original concealer stick it can be applied all over the face to conceal dark spots as well as highlight or contour.

Is it a superior sequel? Potentially. This version focuses more on hydrating and illuminating skin for a healthy radiance than its predecessor. It allegedly helps blur fine lines and wrinkles as well, so it’s hitting that trendy intersection of makeup-as-skin care nicely. There are six shades, ranging from Ivory to Dark.

Available in Ivory, Beige, Almond, Ocher, Mocha, and Dark.
