158 Designers Share Their Inspirations for New York Fashion Week
It’s that time! To kick off New York Fashion Week, the Cut asked 158 designers to choose just one word and one image to describe their new collections — as a mood-board preview of what you’ll see on the runways this season. Some designers evoked nostalgia in vintage photographs, including Tory Burch, Gabriela Hearst, and Jill Stuart. Others like Mansur Gavriel and Kate Spade New York went for bright colors.
