Although London is known as the birthplace of punk (see one person below in DIY patchwork denim pants), it seems like everyone at London Fashion Week is feeling the color fever like last week in New York — like one particularly gleeful showgoer in a sparkly rainbow jumpsuit complete with hot-pink hair. Most of the fashionable crowd opted for just a hint of color, and a popular choice was neon green — from a slime-colored turtleneck underneath a black suit to a snakeskin-printed lime coat.
Bold and colorful versions of classic prints like houndstooth and plaid were popular options also. It is the home of Burberry, after all. But those looking to add some flair to classic prints should take note from the Londoners: why settle for a plain trench when you could wear one with neon orange plaid?
