Happy Friday! A Rat Fell on a Table at Buffalo Wild Wings

In Los Angeles this week, a woman was enjoying lunch at the restaurant and sports bar chain Buffalo Wild Wings, when a live rat dropped from the ceiling onto her table, NBC News reports. Um?

No.

I’m sorry, for the woman, and also for the rat, but no. No no no no no.
Nope. NO. No thank you! No. Absolutely not.

But actually, yes, it happened, and there’s nothing we can do about it now.

Alisha Norman, who was visiting Los Angeles from her home in Texas, said she hadn’t ordered yet (thank God) when she heard something overhead, which in itself is no small feat in a Buffalo Wild Wings, where all you can hear is generally the sound of a six-top of men in jerseys screaming at a hockey game on a big screen.

The something overhead turned out to be a lowbrow Ratatouille, who plummeted down onto her table. “I knew the rat was going to be injured because it hit like a Mack truck,” Norman said.

(Nope. I refuse!)

She did not, as would be her right, I believe, run out of the restaurant screaming and crying. Instead, she asked to see a manager, who brought over two plates (??) and disposed of the injured rodent.

(No.)

“He took two plates and then they just picked it up and dumped it in a bag,” she said. “It was terrible. It was disgusting.”

Norman told NBC she is not angry (?!) because the manager “took care of her bill,” which is, I guess, the very least they could do.

No.
