The Easy, Breezy Jumpsuit You’ll Want to Wear All Fall

Call it a boiler suit, mechanic cosplay, or a coverall — it’s definitely a piece that’s grown in popularity over the past year or so. Hermès, Stella McCartney, and Giambattista Valli have all offered their high-end takes on the boiler. They’re just so easy to throw on and go, with little to no effort added.

Alex Mill, the elevated basics brand from the minds behind Madewell, has such a boiler suit and it’s become one of its most popular pieces. The original jumpsuit is a classic, lightweight version, and sold out online quickly when the women’s collection launched. What do you do when you have a hit on your hands? You keep going. So, Alex Mill is launching a new version. It’s slightly heavier, and unlike the original, has a self-tie belt and four pockets on the front. Since it’s a bit heavier, it’s ideal for transitional fall weather (which, I’m told, will come eventually). It comes in tan, pale pink, dark green, and black. The style officially launches tomorrow, but Cut readers can shop it now through the link below.
