You’ll Never Guess Who Tod’s Is Collaborating With

Ever since Alber Elbaz left Lanvin in 2015, he’s been missed. The beloved designer, known for creating beautiful, draped dresses that flattered a woman’s body, was also a perennial industry favorite for his cheerful sense of humor. Well, we have some good news: he’s back and teaming up with Italian leather goods brand Tod’s. And through this collaboration, all he wants to do is make you happy.

The collection is called “Happy Moments” as part of Tod’s Factory Project, inspired in its name by Andy Warhol’s Factory. If you’re not caught up yet, the project is a series of capsule collections in collaboration with different designers, and they’ll be released throughout the year. But Elbaz’s capsule feels particularly special since he’s been pretty much MIA the past four years.

The collection will have shoes, handbags, as well as T-shirts and sweatshirts. Some are dropping this month and the next wave will be in September. Right now, you can buy a large tote ($2,375) and a micro version ($1,675). Plus, there are flatforms in black, white pink and red going for $625 — they resemble a hybrid between the ugly sneaker trend and loafers.
