Finally, Big Sunglasses Are Back in Style

Teeny-tiny sunglasses have been de rigueur for the last year or so. But now, bigger frames have staged a comeback — according to the spring 2020 runways and Warby Parker. The brand’s latest collection of sunglasses, called the Halo Collection, is refreshingly bold. Usually gradients on sunglass lenses are vertically oriented, but these are outlined with dark-toned rings that recede into lighter hues at the center — meant to look like the moon’s subtle glow against the dark night sky.

The Halo Collection offers four different styles: the roundish-square Marina inspired by the ’70s, the bell-shaped Inez with an arched brow in two colors (red and black), and the dramatically cat-eyed Nadine. On each pair, there’s leather wrapped around a portion of the metal frames for a luxurious touch of color. Shop them all below.
