Yes, all anyone could talk about before, during, and after the AMAs on Sunday night was Lizzo’s tiny purse. What it lacked in size it made up for in headlines and viral social media posts. It’s even got its own Twitter account, which Lizzo herself immediately replied to with “OMG,” plus multiple crying emojis. She’s also since issued a request for her followers to Photoshop “the bag big and me small,” which has resulted in an even longer, more hilarious Twitter thread. “I’m tryna see something,” she explained.
According to Lizzo, there are only three of these tiny Valentino bags in the whole world. When she was asked on the red carpet what, exactly, she could fit in such a tiny, expensive, rare purse, her answer was straightforward and practical. “There’s a lot!” Lizzo said. “I got Tampons in here, a flask of tequila, condoms …”
