You may have noticed some posts from our friends at the Strategist on the Cut. They’ll be dropping in every now and again, sharing their expertise on the basics you don’t have time to research and the weird and wonderful things you don’t yet know you need.

Like its silk shirts and jeans, Everlane’s footwear has become something of a Strategist wardrobe staple. Its Day Glove flats made our list of the best black flats under $200, and when we talked to three Everlane super-shoppers about their favorite things from the brand, they named a few more pairs as go-tos. One of those pairs is Everlane’s Day Heel, which Everlaneologist and writer Robin Reetz says has a silhouette that “feels classic without being boring.” This Day High Heel has that same shape and design — including a ballerina-inspired rounded toe, comfy elasticized back with pull tab — with heels that rise 2.75 inches (about an inch taller than those of the regular Day Heel). They’re the type of versatile shoe that you can dress up or down and would look great paired with jeans, work slacks, or a skirt. And right now, they’re just $58 — a pretty incredible deal, if you ask us, especially on such a classic color. If you don’t like the black, the Day High Heel is also on sale for the same price in forest green, white, or tan. (If you do like black, for this price, you might consider getting a second, or third, pair.) Note: These are on final sale, so they cannot be returned or exchanged, but the shoes’ reviews and product description have sizing tips for anyone unsure of theirs.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
