It’s Now Possible to Match Your Earrings to Your Lamp

Jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher makes pieces that are frequently called “sculptural.” So it’s not surprising that CB2 took her up on that and asked her to design furniture and home decor. And turns out Fisher’s sleek, modern aesthetic translates easily into enviable home decor. Like her jewelry, her CB2 collaboration is slightly minimal and sticks to a concise color pallet of brass, black, white, and silver.

“I wanted to incorporate design elements from my jewelry line that would translate well to home, but at the same time not be too literal,” Fisher told the Cut. “You see this via slight nods, such as the border of the Chain Link Mirror which emulates our signature Long Link Chain, and the curve of The Tubular Marble Table Lamp which is similar to the tubing of our Samira Hoops.” It would be pretty cool to say that you matched your earrings to your lamp. Sadly they don’t come in sets.

Some of Fisher’s favorite pieces include the invisible clothing rack, which solved a real-world problem she was having. “We are stuck with unseemly industrial wardrobe racks and you don’t want that sitting in your bedroom or in any part of your house,” she said. So she designed one she wouldn’t be embarrassed by. The clear jewelry storage tower was also something Fisher wanted to find on the market, but couldn’t. Personally, the martini glass with a raised lip solves a problem I have — spilling my drink. Her full collection launched yesterday in stores and online, but you can shop a few favorites below.
